Sarah turns twenty in Exeter

I'm taking a breather right now, I was working on my assignment all day and it was rather overwhelming because I was unaware of the amount of work I had to put in. Of course, life is not always bubbles, Sun and ladybugs so I broke down for a couple of seconds, picked myself up, pop into the shower and started cleaning up the apartment to clear my mind. Oh and I turned twenty, five days ago. How I felt about turning 20? I'm two decades old, what do you think? Well, it was not much of a big deal at first but it only hit me when I started receiving birthday wishes in the evening the day before my birthday because it was midnight in Malaysia. I did not want to admit I was already twenty in Malaysia so I refused to read my messages for a moment before I gave in to read the sweet wishes from all my favourite people around the world. Still, though I'm buried under piles of assignments, tests, presentations and preparing for my upcoming exams at the moment, I'm still grateful with where I am, who I am, what I am doing and what I have done. Thank you everyone for the thoughtful wishes on the phone, whatsapp, instagram, facebook (I'll probably only reply in the next week or so), twitter and snapchat.

Basically from the title, I turned twenty in Exeter. I decided to follow my best friend back to where she was currently studying at after the whole Brighton trip. Just so I can do some exploring around the sweet little town. Also, to celebrate my birthday quietly in another city with my best friend.

Overall, I got what I want for my birthday if you're wondering. Received endless amount of love from my family and friends, a quiet lovely time out in town with the Sun, skinny fries and watched my all time favourite disney movie, Alice in Wonderland (the classic cartoon one) with my best friend in pyjamas. That's my kind of a perfect birthday. I think I need to get some sleep now before I go mad, mad like the mad hatter. Maybe that isn't so bad actually. Thank you to my best friend above for everything and send love from me to your friends for being so sweet in helping you out to surprise me with the lovely cake and bubbles.
