Natassha goes to Newcastle

Hello readers, it has been awhile since I've blogged a proper entry so here goes. Just a little update from what has been going on for the last weekend. My best friend who is studying down South came up  to the North East for the weekends. She's a bundle of joy to have around so the weekend pretty much went by pretty quickly. All we did were build pillow forts, watched a total of nine movies, tour around the city a little, attended The Script's concert and basically enjoyed each other's company for being apart for too long. We recorded a bunch of dorky videos of each other and also posted little time-lapse videos of us cooking and eating where you check out on my Instagram (@saayraahh). So here are some photos as you scroll along.
A simple pillow fort we built on the first night, it was extremely cozy and warm after we had to brave the shivering cold Newcastle wind from the train station to my place.
I gave the little monkey a tour around my university campus, around the city and also the market where I bought a bouquet of yellow flowers for my place just to brighten up the living room.
Look how much she loves the wind in Newcastle, I don't think I'll be expecting her to visit again anytime soon.

The night of the concert was so exciting and I'm both grateful and happy to be able to have my best friend with me for it. The thought of seeing The Script live just a few days back with my best friend is still lingering around, it was incredible.

This is a photo of a happy monkey and I just love how dorky and crazy we can get when we're around each other. She's crazy but my type of crazy and part of my crazy.
Do we look like a couple of twenty year olds or thirteen year olds?

"Newcastle you were incredible! We love you! M"
They sure know how to give us audience a mind-blowing performance. God bless Glen, Mark and Danny for being such geniuses making beautiful music for everyone. Not forgetting to credit the rest of the crew that made the concert happen. I can't wait to have the opportunity to watch them live again.
The end of a great weekend was just sending her off at the train station even before the sun has risen. I can't wait to see you during Easter and as always, I miss you gayo and can't wait to add more #sarshalessthanthree to our adventures. The origin of that line may be or may not be revealed in future post so stay tune and thanks for stumbling upon my blog every now and then. Since I can cross out watching The Script live out of my bucket list, next surely will be McBusted and Coldplay, hopefully. Anyways, to end this post, have a great weekend and God Bless.

dream journal #13

5th February 2015

It started off with Petra and I getting on a taxi to head to a hotel not too far off. She was all dressed up with an old fashion hairstyle and full on makeup in a dress. As for me, I was wearing a lazy comfortable outfit, most likely to be her assistant for that night because I was carrying a gym bag. When we arrived the hotel, I saw posters of a musical as we headed towards backstage. Behind stage I saw a couple of massage rooms and a small go-kart track. Here comes the slightly weird part, Davina and Tasha were by a bench nearby shaving their legs. They were done by the time I greeted them so we decided to race with our little go-karts. At the finish line, we just got out of the karts and got on a bus where I found an iPod in my pocket. Through reflex, I guess I thought it was a good idea to check the camera album. There were group photos and all sort of random photos where I notice it was the guy sitting at the last row of the bus. As I walking towards him, the bus started moving all out a sudden which triggered my brain to wake me up from my sleep.

happy 21st birthday, ko

This is my top favourite photo out of many taken of you, ko. Previous entry was also a birthday post but it doesn't matter because both of you guys built a bungalow in my heart to stay as long as you want. First of all, happy blessed twenty first birthday, ko. Big boy liao loh. Year after year, the number on the birthday wishes increases which makes 365 days looks so short every time I wish you a happy birthday. It definitely has been ages since I've seen you in person, maybe one year and forty days but who's counting. I hope you're reading this with a big smile on your face and make sure your teeth are showing because you'll look more handsome if anyone is watching you read this.

Did I manage to make you think that I've forgotten your birthday from our conversation on whatsapp today? Well, muii haven't and muii won't because your birthday is always in my yearly planner without fail. I miss you so much and I can't emphasis more on that every time we end our conversations but at least it brings me a day closer to seeing you.

I love that every time I see a photo of you or talk to you, you are always without fail overflowing with God's love and spreading it however you can with your performances and participation in activities. Make sure your performances are recorded each time so you can send me more videos and of course, I'll keep you in my prayers and pray that God opens more pathways, doors and opportunities for you to do what you love and love what you do. I mention this all the time but I never want you to forget that muii is very thankful for every single thing you have done for me and for basically just existing.

Till your next birthday,
I love you and happy birthday.
