happy blessed 20th birthday, dumpling

Happy 20th birthday, Petra
Thank you for being such an amazing best friend, I love you and I know I don't say that much, I just don't want it to become weary. I've enjoyed all the adventures we have taken, every single one of them were beautiful. I love that we are so blessed to be able to travel together to Singapore as our first official trip before prom night, live together in England whilst exploring the country at the same time and of course, recently visiting Germany. Not forgetting the time you visited Tasha and I in Kuala Lumpur when you needed to get your visa done. That one visit really brighten my heart as I wasn't at my best that year.

What can I say? You're in your twenties, I can't believe it that we're going to have to say goodbye to calling ourselves teenagers. You for one has grown up to becoming even more beautiful as you already are inside and out, don't let anybody or even think of degrading yourself. I apologise for not being able to be there in person to celebrate your 20th birthday, I owe you big time, honeybee. Just know that you play a big role in my heart and mean so much more to me than I usually express. I look forward to taking over more countries with you, Miss Goddess of Navigation while making dorky videos and taking hugging photos at landmarks ♡ Like always and forever, "You and I against the world."

Once again, happy birthday and I love you to the moon and back.

Sarah goes to Bristol

I'm not done yet, did you think I was? Our flight in Germany was delayed for more than two hours  where we sat on the floor eating nutella biscuit sticks and pistachios. As soon as we touch down London's airport, everybody had to scatter because we all had to quickly catch our trains and buses. Petra and I missed our first train but we manage to catch up with the next one and the journey to Petra's place in Bristol after that went pretty smoothly. Only spent a couple of days in Bristol where we spent stuffing our face with korean bbq, christmas shopping, checking out graffiti around town and not forgetting visiting Aaron before he left for London the next morning.
 The Canteen restaurant

Thanks Petra for bringing me around town, cooking for me, letting me crash at your place and everything else you have done. See you soon, honeybee

Sarah goes to Munich

Lastly the city of Munich, it was a really short two days where we tried to cover most of the area.
Petra and Leong ahead crossing the bridge.
New Town Hall (Neus Rathaus)
Leong with the Tom and Jerry cheese that we poked and talked about for five minutes while waiting for the girls.
The Amazing Allianz Arena

These are just jerseys we couldn't afford.
Group selfie
Do you have friends who take countless photos before you're even ready too? I do and I was kicking a piece of paper backwards if you're wondering what I'm doing.
Top favourite photos of the trip.
I wonder what the old couple were thinking when they helped us with these two photos.
And yes, I wore my giraffe headband on our last night in Germany.

Last day on the way to the airport with a pretty view. Ratings are Berlin 6/10, Hamburg 5/10 and Munich 5/10. Don't take my ratings so seriously though, it is just based on my experience and the amount of fun I had. Overall, I had a great time with the Malaysians and one Hong Kongese.

Sarah goes to Hamburg

Next destination of our Germany trip, Hamburg. We took a long bus ride there where Carmen and her brother joined us.
Food was good in this restaurant that I forgotten the name of, I'm sorry.
This photo's quality is so much better, taken with Mabel's camera.
Times when I'm not a klutz, photos like this can be taken.
A group photo minus Arthur who is behind the camera.
Love lock bridge, it's basically everywhere, honestly.
All I know is that we took a dark tunnel to get to the opposite side of the river.

The sibling family of the trip and let's just take a moment to appreciate Arthur's face.
Another happy photo with my cinnamon bread.
95' babies with a pigeon, this was basically the highlight of our day plus feeding the birds.
Blocking the boys' view for always blocking my view.
This was such a beautiful view, I loved it both during day and night.
Accidental pretty photo before leaving Hamburg for Munich.

Sarah goes to Berlin

There are going to be a lot of unsureness on where my photos are taken and whether the sequence of the photos are right or not, I apologise in advance. I'll try to be a better blogger in the future, we'll see. Keep in mind that I only chose my favourite photos out of many so photos posted would just be 10% of the trip. Enjoy them!
Part of the group that purchased our flight tickets together.
I'm not very sure if this was taken before flying to Berlin or when we arrived but it was still a bright beginning to our Germany trip.  I hope to travel to more countries with this one ♡
Brandenburg Gate with the best friend and unwanted strangers.
Brandenburg Gate with my junior year best friend and more strangers.
Berlin Cathedral
 Alte Nationalgalerie
The Goddess of navigation with her map, thanks for guiding us.
The Berlin wall where we took a goofy video trying our best to get to the end of the wall.
Not all photos are great but I really like this one, 95' babies of the trip.
Altes Museum, look at how happy he is to kick me out of the way.
There were more jumping photos but Leong's was the best one here.
Look at this beauty with her fried dough sprinkled with icing sugar.
The happiest with food, as usual.
We went back to the Brandenburg Gate late at night to take more photos. Luckily we did because there was absolutely nobody around and the landmark looked even more beautiful. We even took off our jackets and scarfs to brave the cold winter just for fun. Good times, good times. Stay tune for the next destination.

Recap 2014

So much has happened...
I moved to England for my studies, received a scholarship, started first year of university, cut 15cm of my hair off myself, donated blood again, tried archery and embraced snow fall for the first time, visited major cities such as London and Berlin, checked off water rafting in my bucket list, watched Liverpool FC play live again and lastly the most important one, love my body and myself.

Well actually it's not much but I was and I am happy.
