cheeky boy cheeky girl

Why hello there, my christmas this year was lovely ♥
My family and I had a nice buffet dinner in Horizon Hotel for Christmas Eve and drove to a beach hotel to have a mini family photo shoot using my mom's camera with the Christmas decorations. T-minus three days till my flight and older sister is flying back to Singapore tomorrow. We won't be able to countdown together into the new year as a complete family this year which is sad news. The even sadder news, Natalie flew back to Australia in the afternoon, today. Oh by the way, I finally did my eyebrows on Christmas day itself. Congratulations to me because I've always been reluctant to fix my eyebrows since forever and it was a pretty big step for me ʅ(。◔‸◔。)ʃ

Family had seafood as our Christmas dinner and opened our Christmas presents after. It was lovely to be able to exchange gifts with my siblings again and have Natalie join us too.

The day after Christmas, I met up with BB and CKL for brunch and brought them to get their haircut in Karamunsing. Thank you, bb, for running in the heavy rain to get my phone and umbrella that forgetful me left in the car, it was really sweet of you to do so and getting your new shoes wet for me. I OWE YOU (。◕‿◕。) Had Uncle Bob too to fix my cravings, it is a fried chicken franchise that sells yummy fried chicken, of course. Rushed to another mall to catch the movie, 47 Ronin with a group of ex-high school mates. I give the movie a 4/10.

On the next day, I only remember going to October, a cute coffee shop with a small bunch of friends to chill. That's where I took the pictures above with Max. Ever since I got back, I've been consistently joining my family for dinner every night. I would cancel or pass hangouts just to spend more time with my family and just be home where I feel loved the most. Joined Aaron, Petra and Tasha for supper and drove the girls home. It was nice to be able to catch up with each other's lives while our drive around your neighbourhood like we used to in the beginning of the year, gayo

Laksa for breakfast this morning as Natalie's last meal in KK and also I recently developed a love for laksa, I love it. After sending Natalie off in the airport, older brother and I went to do some last minute shopping for things we need to bring over to the UK. Korean BBQ for dinner that was really satisfying and chilled at Eeling's place forawhile before I came home to start blogging about my week. Anyways, everybody be safe for New Years and have a nice day everyday.

the day before christmas eve

Pulau Sapi with these bunch of lovely people the day before christmas eve. I had a great time and checked flyfish off my to do list. Snorkelled but the water wasn't as clear as the last time I came and there wasn't much fishes either but it was alright. Played frisbee on the beach and in the water too, it was a good sunny day. I also slap on layers of sunblock because I didn't want to get too much sun, I like my skin tone at the moment ♥ Anyways, happy christmas eve, readers. Quickly do your last minute christmas shopping if you're lazy last minute people like me. I decorated the stairs in my house with beautiful christmas lights too because I want to and I'm a shameless princess. Goodnight internet.

ms chubby cheeks

I just want to spend my last few days of 2013, relaxed and happy.
See only the people I want to see, eat good food, spend lots of time with my family, have countless hours of sleep, be able to watch discovery channel in peace and play with baby kiwi. So whoever gets in my way will most likely face my crankiness of fury because my days spent in Kuala Lumpur has always been so busy and hectic since I had to settle a lot of things before coming back to my hometown. So it doesn't matter who you are, please just leave me to do whatever I want.

Anyways, just five more days till Christmas and eleven more days to New Years.

fun fact #7

I find my mom the most beautiful without makeup and in her pyjamas at home.

a little green in life

One of my last purchase items from Kuala Lumpur was my fish eye lens clip ons for RM 50 in Publika. I like it, I don't hate it neither do I love it but I like it. Pictures were taken in a golf clubhouse I went for lunch with my older brother and Natalie. I also added a mockingjay charm from the Hunger Games on my friendship bracelet that each one of my favourite high school girls have one of their own too but different charms that represents themselves. Each one of us have that same key which represents the key of friendship. Yes, so cheesy but cheese is best served on pizza and I love pizza. So goodnight, readers.

last glimpse

Here are a few pictures from probably my last two weeks in Kuala Lumpur and I would say that I spend my last moments wisely making sweet memories with the great people in my life.
Just Heavenly for brunch with these girls and Dip n Dip after.
I bought the top but not the skirt because I already own something similar.
Laser tag with these bunch of people from my april intake, I had an awesome time and highly recommend you readers to give it a try if you're ever in Mid Valley. Only paid RM 30 for two games, 15 mins each. Go with a big group of your own friends, it makes it more fun competing against each other. And I would like to show off that I was the second top scorer for the second game (੭ु ˃̶͈̀ w˂̶͈́)੭ु)) Few people are missing for the group picture though, I think they must have gone to restaurant first where we had our dinner.
One of my last picture in my apartment, I don't think I'm going to miss it.
Ladies from the april intake, I visited them while they were having their moral studies. All the best in the future and may we all be a great success to bring up Malaysia to be a more developed country.

Moved out

Flew from the city back to my hometown again but for the last time.
It was bittersweet leaving the city, it is always bittersweet leaving anywhere that I've made so much memories and got slightly attached. My last week was really hectic. I had to pack up my whole apartment, decide what I had to let go because some of my things were impossible to bring back home and last minute meet ups with my favourite people. Natalie, my childhood friend who moved to Australia in the year 2008, flew in in the middle of the week so I had to make time to see and entertain her too. It was really nice to see her in person after years of conversations through the social media only. Thank you, wifey, for letting me stay at your place for my last two nights so it would be more convenient for me when I had to fly back home.

Just two more weeks till the year 2014, I can't wait.
I can't wait to see so many new things/places/cultures, be more experienced and to meet more people. This year had taught me to build a strong foundation anywhere you are placed in life because I have always been really weak when I am put into a situation where I have to leave my loved ones, live alone and experience failures. I would say my 2013 was 70% good and 30% bad. Well, life is never perfect. I'm looking forward to meeting more people that would make an impact in my life and inspire me to be a better, greater person. I hope to inspire people too whenever and where ever I can. This year also taught me that God has given me more friends that I could ever imagined that has said so many kind words to me, worry about my safety and love me for who I am, no matter how dumb/fussy/demanding I can be. My friends are just wonderful and I couldn't ask for more because I've received more than enough.

One day, you'll realise that there are some people you’ll never see again.
At least, not in the same way.”

Leaving just tears for now

I've been having a good time these few days and I can't get enough of telling God how thankful I am for what He has given to me. I got a feeling some of you guys will think that I use the word "thankful" a little too much and be all, "what's wrong with this girl ah, such a small matter also thankful thankful", but what can say other than that? That I'm grateful?

Honestly, I broke down and cried few hours ago. Don't get me wrong, I had a great day today and will post pictures another time but I just got myself to thinking about the people that I met just eight months ago.

The people that made me laugh countless times. The people that have taught me so many things in life. The people that treat me like their own little sister. The people that care so much to waste their time on me. The people that were so generous to drive me to places. The people that are patient with me. The people that I grow to love more and more each day.

Where ever I go, the people I miss tends to increase. I wish I knew them earlier so I could have more time to spend with them, build stronger friendships and to make more memories together. But after hating the fact that wishes don't come true, it was still a wish come true to be able to have met such wonderful people during my time in the city.

I felt so stupid for crying over this, it's not like I'm not going to see them again in the future. But it's not everyday you meet people that accept you for who you are and love you for being you. I'm worried, very worried. I'm worried if they will be safe at all times, I'm worried our paths in the future won't ever meet, I'm worried our friendship fade away like how some memories do.

God, You're writing the story of my life and watching over me at all times, I pray that You keep the precious people in my life safe and sound for they mean a lot to me and have taught me that love and true friendship exists. And also that we will meet again soon, some day.

100th

Escape room with good company on the second day of the month, I had a great time with them even though we couldn't escape from the room by ourselves. I got seven more rooms to go.
Had crab aglio olio for the first time at Just Heavenly yesterday for brunch and I loved it, 8/10. The red velvet cake was delicious too, one of the best I've ever tasted, 9/10. Thanks Alysa for bringing me along and I know I don't need to say "if you ever read this" because you discovered my blog already, I love you for being your vampire self  ♥ ⊂((・▽・))⊃
Ordered the Hangover set with an add on of fried egg for dinner, 8/10.
Finally got the chance to try out the famous Burger Lab with the January intakes. I'm not sure when will be the next time I'll see you but I pray that you guys have a great future ahead and that our pathways would meet again. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet you guys. All the best for A2 and God bless

As you can see from my title, this is my 100th post. To my daily readers, thanks for dropping by once in awhile to read my posts and drop a comment, I appreciate it a lot.
ʚ♡⃛ɞ(ू•ᴗ•ू❁)

This year has been such a smooth yet rough ride for me but I'm glad I pulled through and have my loved ones by my side all these times. Experienced quite a number of firsts this year and I feel that I've become more comfortable talking to strangers. Being able to fly back and forth to my hometown and the city is amazing and I love it that home is just two hours and half away by plane. I kind of made a habit to talk to the passenger next to me during the flight, of course I would respect their personal space and give them some peace but there is no harm in making small conversations. It's nice to learn about how different other people lives are and how different are the kind of things or people that can bring us happiness.

Another three more weeks then it's the year 2014, time is not going to slow down anytime soon no matter how many times you complain about it so might as well make good use of it. There is still so much to do and still so many people to meet before the year ends, I'm going to do it all. Have a great December everyone and take care, readers.

dream journal #9

4 December 2013

It all started in an office building, I was all suited up in business formal wear with a friend of mine which I don't remember. I was at the top floor and was about to deliver a metal suitcase to my father. I remember a lady leading me to my father's office door but before I went in I got a call from my father, himself. He told me not to enter the office for he wasn't inside and that he was in hiding.

He didn't explain to me the situation but just directed me to follow a few instructions. I had to take the suitcase to the parking lot of level 3 and find a black range rover at section E23. He told me that I would find the car key placed right under the back bumper and to drive to the location where the GPS has already been set.

The friend of mine from the beginning of the dream did not follow me, he just kind of disappear after I got the phone call from my father. I don't remember how long I drove but the location I was headed to was far from the city. I arrived to what I remember of was an old mansion with big, tall trees surrounding it.

There were fancy cars parked by the side and the entrance of the mansion was wide open. I wasn't sure what was I suppose to do next because I didn't have further instructions. I looked around the car's compartments to check if I were to find any clue but all I found was a loaded handgun on the left passenger's compartment and placed it into my handbag.

I left the car and entered the mansion. It was dark and the only light around were from the big glass windows that had misty sunlight shining through them. I walked up a spiral staircase and there were a few men in suits at the end of the hallway. They did not notice me until I made a loud creak from stepping on the last step of the staircase.

One of the men yelled, " That's her !" and they all started running my direction. I didn't know what to do but just run into the first room of the hallway. The men started banging on the door trying to get in so I tried to look for another way out. Everything happened so fast, I remember climbing on a dressing table to get to the top of a wardrobe because right above it was a square which I assume could get me anywhere else but there because I've seen these kind of squares on ceilings of rooms very often.

I climbed through it and quickly close the top, just in time before I could hear the men barging into the room. It was dusty and dark so I took out my phone to try see my surroundings. All I could see were millions of popcorn kernels everywhere. As stupid as it sounds, yes it was popcorn kernels. And maybe you can guess what happened?

I heard one of the men saying that the room was freezing so he turn up the heat and yes, the popcorn kernels started popping. Before I could do anything, the whole ceiling dropped on top of the men and there was a popcorn avalanche. That was when I woke up from my 13 hours of sleep.

fun facts about my roommate

She has a funny laugh
She can dance like nobody's business

She's one of the sweetest girl I've ever met
She can't finish her sentences when she's all excited
She squeals every time there is a cute baby on instagram
She has dance parties in the bathroom when she showers
She always forgets to take her glasses off before falling asleep
She won't let me wash the dishes most of the time after dinner
She only sleeps with one pillow while I on the other hand sleep with six pillows
She has a weird love for dugongs and wants to own one and name it "Kindness"
She has called me "cute" countless times and can say the word "cute" a hundred times a day

My roommate just officially moved out this afternoon, it was a really short time living with her but it felt really great to have her as my roommate. Having her around was always lovely and I pray that you succeed in life and gain fame and fortune so you'll be able to afford a dugong and name it "Kindness". I hope to see you soon and that we'll keep in touch no matter what.
Love you from your head to your toes

I had an incredible night, definitely had enough techno music for a lifetime. Thank you Yene and Justin for transport and taking such good care of me, you guys are the best ♥ BB, thank you for waiting for me, protecting me from creepy men and keeping me company throughout the whole night. The fireworks at the end was beautiful, I only reached my place 4am in the morning and slept at 6am. Well there is still plenty more of firsts to experience in my life, I can't wait. And if you're wondering, yes, I wore the same top for all three events this week. Sorry not sorry because I'm a shameless princess.
And gayo mayo, I missed you. I miss being by your side and making our time together adventurous and stupid. I miss your warm hugs and worrying about you being clumsy or hurting yourself at times. I wish it was easier for us to meet up more often with each other but life is never easy.
Do you even ever spare time in your busy life to miss me back?
Goodnight

last friday

BBQ gathering with my april intake babies, thank you everyone for coming. I couldn't be anymore thankful to have met you guys this year, you guys are just the sweetest.

Attended my girl's fashion marketing exhibition that night with Alysa, too bad we couldn't talk as much since you were really busy. It's been absolutely too long since we last saw each other in person. I hope we manage to meet up before I fly back home. Your rainbow misses you ♥
