strengths

I have natural rosy cheeks. I have a head full of thick hair. I am sociable and friendly. I am adventurous and spontaneous. I don't get tanned easily and I have crazy imagination. I can be very motherly but only with the people that I like. I worry a lot for my loved ones. I don't smoke. I am occasionally clean. I only like giving meaningful gifts. I frequently try to save the planet. I like to bring out the most of a quiet person. I am quite observant. I make an effort to strengthen my relationships with my loved ones and to never lose that connection.
I am strong.

fun fact #9

I remember being really proud of myself when I could spell the words, "because" in primary two and "photosynthesis" in primary five.

stranger not danger

During today's adventure time (it is when I take a different route back home), a russian man that was walking towards me, smiled at me and as I smiled back, he said "wow, you're really pretty, really." God bless you and I hope all your dreams come true, kind man.

cold hands, cold feet

First week in the UK just pass by like a flash of light, it has been a lovely week.
I met a few nice friends and done some shopping, hoping to meet more interesting friends when classes start soon. I miss my happy pills back in Malaysia though. My couple of guys, Justin and Sulei, that made me laugh endlessly everyday without fail. I wish they could be shipped here in a box and go through this journey with me. Here are some pictures just to keep you readers scrolling down my blog.
£40 playsuit that was perfect but I vowed to myself not to spend £20 above for clothing.
£5 top that I was delighted to pay with student discount too.
Ms Forever Chubby
Lastly, this is Khouloud. My first friend that I made during orientation and we just clicked on the spot ♥ She has been shopping with me and we went skating last night along with honeybee too. And if you know me well, I am pretty talentless and useless in a lot of things but I can proudly say that I might be a natural ice skater ೭(๑•́ ω •̀๑)೨

fun fact #8

I take 90% of my selfies in the fitting room of stores, they have the best lightning most of the time.

dream journal #10

It all started what looked like an old apartment building with Tasha by my side. She told me that she left her bag of potato chips two floors down and wanted me to accompany her go get it. We walked down the poorly lit staircase together and there, we saw a man eating her bag of chips. Tasha asked the man to pay her back RM 20 which I assume that it must have been high quality potato chips to cost that much. He told us to come back tomorrow to his apartment and that his name was Sherlock Hok Shim He (Don't ask me questions about that, I probably wouldn't be able to answer you on why I have weird ass dreams).

After what looked like a day has past, we went to the man's apartment and found a blood trail to a closet like the one in the movie "Narnia". We went in the closet along with a redhead boy and another girl with brown hair. There were trees everywhere and we had to walk quite awhile through the thick forest. Even though I, myself, was walking in the woods, I remember I could see from another point of view. Like a movie director point of view when filming a movie. I could actually watch myself and the rest walking through the woods.

As we pass by huge trees and rocks, as weird as I can sound, the trees and rocks had faces that moved and stared as we walk by them. We finally reach the end of the thick forest and walked into a wide field with tall grass. We joined another group of people that had an old man as their leader.

At the other end of the field, I remember seeing a monster which looked like an albino version of big foot, or maybe like a yeti with long white fur and all. We all squat down to hide ourselves from being viewed and watched what was happening at the other end.
More yetis started coming out of the forest to the field and gathered in a circle. The old man then explained that they were going to fight to death and the last one standing will be able to transform into a human being with superior powers to take over the world.

All of a sudden, people started running out of a temple not far from us so we too ran to a nearby waterfall where we had to climb up level by level or we'll suffer the consequences for going over the time limit. Everybody had to climb on rocks and grab on to roots to get to the first level. The ones that didn't make it were bitten by tiny water fairies with sharp teeth like the river fairies from the movie "The Great Oz". We still continued to climb to the second level but our fingers started disappearing. Not all at once but only like two fingers from each hand which made it even more difficult to pull ourselves up to the next level.

I remember asking a girl for help, she didn't have a middle finger on her right hand as she pulled me up. The water started boiling and the ones that didn't make it to the second level were boiled to death. I only had a glimpse of that happening because I was rushing to go higher but it was terrifying. The people left manage to climb to the third level including myself. Our fingers started reappearing and were back to normal.

A fairy the size of a human flew in front of us and explained that not all of us is going to survive. He then mentioned that the girl with the bleeding foot must come forward. The girl was not far from me and as she lifted her foot, everyone could see she had a really deep cut and was bleeding a lot. I was terrified by what the fairy was going to do to her so I closed my eyes shut and that was when I woke up from my dream 4am this morning.

happy new year, everybody

I'm cold.
I'm tired.
I'm scared.
But I'm happy.

Already on the fourth day of the year, 2014.
This is incredible, for readers that don't know, well... I'm in the UK now. I flew here on the first day of the year to study, learn and experience. It was tiring flying to Kuala Lumpur from my hometown for two and a half hours then waiting fours hours in KLIA for my flight to Dubai. Another seven hours to fly to the Dubai airport where I had to wait for three hours before having an eight hour flight to Newcastle. My butt was as flat as paper for sitting too long and I just couldn't wait to crawl into bed and hibernate. Jet lag didn't hit me very hard though, I feel fine, thanked God.

This is the farthest country I have travelled in my eighteen years of life.
Did you notice that you can't spell farthest without fart? Anyways, everything is so different. The weather, the time, the temperature, the food, the people and the culture. But I sort of like it, honestly. I can't wait for classes to start so I can meet new people and learn new things but terrified at the same time that they won't like me and that I don't succeed. Wish me luck, readers.

For this year's resolutions? I just want to be really happy. That's all.
What I learned from the years that have passed is that expectations always leads to disappointments and the best times are always unplanned. I'm not going to ask for everything to be perfect but for God to give me just enough to handle. Shall blog more later, I'm going to attempt to cook with my older brother for the first time in the UK.
