birthday princess

I've been meaning to blog about my nineteenth birthday these couple of days but only got to it right now, it was wonderful. My day started with waking up without an alarm and any student would know the feeling is great. Family called to wish me over the phone while they were heading to dinner half way across the globe. I then had dim sum for brunch with my older brother where Petra and Louis gave me a bouquet of lovely flowers and strawberry sponge cake. The food was really satisfying and I loved the cake a lot.

After a delicious meal with great company, we did some shopping and I picked up my shoes that I ordered previously. Headed to the park in the late evening to literally just blow bubbles because bubbles make me happy. Time was running twice as fast that day.

During dinner time, Petra and I heated up leftover pasta from the night before and made mashed potatoes. In the middle of watching Bones and gobbling down my dinner, a bunch of friends from foundation came in the living room singing happy birthday, I was as shy as a schoolgirl. That's an idiom, I've checked in the internet for your information.

Thank you everybody for literally just everything I've received on my birthday. From birthday wishes through messages, audios and videos to flowers, cakes and presents. You know when people wish you to have a great/spectacular/blast on your birthday, well, I truly did and couldn't ever be thankful and grateful enough to have all these people that God placed in my life. Special thanks to my lovebug, Petra, for being the wanton in my meewhun soup. Virtual hugs and kisses to everybody because I'm feeling over the top happy with life.
