Sarah goes to Brighton | Part 1

My easter break is finally over after four short weeks that went by a little too fast. As usual, I've left my assignments collecting dusts while I was out and about so I'll have to get my brain engines oiled up and drink gallons of brain juice to get them done. However, for the mean time while I procrastinate a little for now, here's my trip to Brighton, enjoy ! I even made extra efforts to make gifs, hope you guys like it.

I absolutely adore these couple of group shots, it was taken right after we had our late lunch in Bankers where we had fish and chunky chips (they had the best fish, my favourite so far) then we headed straight for the beach. It was such a beautiful sight to see the sea after quite awhile from being away from home where I used to pass by the sea every single day.

This stranger right here was the first of many that made me love the people in Brighton.

There is a little silly story behind these two photos taken in front of the ice-cream shop. As you see Tasha (the one with the yellow sling bag) was holding the ice-cream sculpture in that pose, apparently to keep herself balanced. Seconds after the photo above was taken, she lost her balance and push the sculpture forward by a little which landed on my tongue as I was still posing. Therefore the outcome of the photo below where she was just laughing at me when she realised what had happened. That little devil. I don't even know if the other two girls knew about the shenanigans that was happening behind. I had coffee flavoured ice-cream by the way, I loved it.

We coincidentally had our outfits paired up, denim on us and leather on the other two.
Don't these huts look similar to the Melbourne Brighton Beach huts?
We ended our day with having Japanese food for dinner in Sushi Garden, the food was a little below average.
Day 2 in Brighton, we practically spend our whole trip by the beach without even visiting the Churchill Square.
We did however do a tiny bit of shopping in the cute little shops by the beach.

Pretty satisfied with my purchase on this hat.
What do you think? Actually, scratch that, I don't want to know.
Isn't she a beauty? Mother nature, not that human.
Petra doing what she does best.
I forced her to stand in the middle of the shop, she's a cute monkey isn't she?

While Petra was still hanging around the shops, Tasha and I went ahead and tried cockles, whelks and crayfish tails that were sold nearby. I really enjoyed it, you guys should really try it out if you're in Brighton. I'm not very sure where else they are sold but it was unexpectedly delicious.

Her face perfectly portrays that content emoticon that I use too often.

Lunch at Burgers and Cocktails where I had my favourite banana milkshake, they had pretty decent fries too.
After that, we visited Snooper's paradise where of course, you can spot this queen.

I manage to take a quick look outside of the Snooper's attic and snap some photos of this queen before a lady came to tell us we weren't suppose to be there. We then met up with our group of friends in town visiting for a day and had dinner in Coach House, not bad but pricey. Part 2 coming very soon.
