Sarah goes to Brussels | Day One

It was a pretty long journey by train from Newcastle to London St Pancras International to Brussels so our day started really early. As common as it has been, we used Eurostar (£32 to and £32 back) to get to Brussels. However of course, getting to see Nat is worth the long journey who travelled thousands of miles to get to where we met. Ever so thankful to have you in my life, Nat ♡ We stayed in Meininger Hotel Brüssels City Center for our visit if anyone is wondering.

Price wise: A little expensive for a full time student (but if you're lucky you can get discounts during certain seasons or early bookings would get you a cheaper price)
Location wise: Meh, 30 minutes plus from the train station and approximately 15 minutes to the city (by walking)
Room wise: I'm satisfied because it's clean, well kept, lockers are provided, hot showers and pretty cozy bed.
Service wise: Not too bad, it's ok. Check in was kind of slow but check out was quick.
Facility wise: Waiting area, lounging area, bar and lobby were cozy and comfortable (I think a kitchen was available to use but we didn't exactly explored that area)

First photo I took upon arrival
It almost took us an hour to find the hotel and when we finally did, we got welcomed by this lovebug.
Brussels Stock Exchange

We had dinner at a restaurant that looked pretty decent near the Stock Exchange

Dinner was no doubt satisfying after a whole lot of walking, it was delicious.
