You are greater than the greatest invention to be built,
You are taller than the tallest tree in California,
You are mightier than the mightiest mountains in Nepal and Tibet,
You are wiser than the wisest man who ever walked the Earth,
You are brighter than the brightest star in the night sky,
You are stronger than the strongest man alive from Iceland,
You are braver than the bravest warrior in mankind.
You are You and I am me.

Thank you
"And take this word and engrave it to your heart forever, always think about whether the future you would do it if the future you had another chance to go back in time. Don't live a life of regrets. If you want to conquer this world, don't just talk and dream about it, climb towards the throne. If you dream of revolutionising and inspiring this world you are in, then everything that you do from today onwards will be for the purpose of that. If I had never engraved all these to my heart and soul, I would have never attempted everything that I never thought I could do."

Listen carefully kiddo
Kid,
You've got to learn to love yourself, you've got to love yourself. You've got to buy that bunch of flowers you have your eyes own, it's looks better on your window sill than your local florist shop. You've got to come home after a bad day and burn your skin from a shower. You've got to write that letter and read it to him, you're not going to regret it. You've got to know it's ok not to be fine, it's ok not to be alright, life has its own way of working out so cry a little then take that shower that will burn your skin again. You've got to keep your hope strong even if that hope changes direction. You've got to treat yourself, whether it's a day on the couch binge watching The Office series again or purchasing that tub of ice-cream you've been eyeing in the little Tesco store nearby. You've got to tell that guy wearing the exact same trainers as you are that he has great taste in shoes. You've got to leave your phone at home once in awhile and go out to realise how much more you can see when you're not looking down on your phone ever so often. You've got to step on that pile of leaves and kick it around just so you can hear that beautiful crunch. You've got to stop over thinking situations, worrying and getting upset over things that won't matter in a week. You've got to make yourself a hot cup of tea and read by the window as the sky puts on a colourful show just for you. You've got to know you're loved so do yourself a goddamn favour and love yourself.

Ika's beauty routine
Hello Sarah's beautiful readers! To briefly introduce myself, I am Ika Yunus and I've known Sarah since we were 12/13? We got to know each other better just a couple of years ago and it's been great ever since! It was really sweet of her to include me in her blog to introduce this new segment and even though I am not a beauty guru or wear a lot of makeup, it was fun compiling my little collection of skincare/beauty products.
S K I N C A R E
Facial Cleanser (s):
i. Sebamed Teenage Cleansing Liquid
ii. Beautycode Purifying Cleansing Gel
I know you must be wondering, why I use two facial cleansers. Well, initially I used the Purifying Cleansing Gel but I felt that sometimes it stripped too much off my skin and left some residue afterwards especially around the sides of my nose. So I opted for something less intense like a foam cleanser, which introduced me to the Sebamed one. I use this every other day but when I fell my skin is extra oily or after wearing some makeup, I use the initial cleanser.
Malu Wilz Hyper Sensitive Calming Tonic
I have quite sensitive skin and after trying out a couple of toners, I finally found one that doesn't dry out my skin and is not too concentrated. It is also a spray on tonic that I directly spray onto my face instead of my palm, so that the entire face is covered evenly.
Malu Wilz Moisturising Fluid
I used to have problems with moisturisers that left my skin sticky/oily especially around my T-zone which I really disliked as I have combination skin. This moisturiser does my skin justice and is easily absorbed into my skin.
Derm10 Daily Skin Protector
A tintless sunblock that I use during the day as KK's heat is insaaaane. It does have a drying consistency to it so I make sure I apply moisturiser before applying this or it will be super hard to blend into my skin especially my cheeks.
M A K E U P
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in Brunette
I use this to set my brows and to make them not all over the place. I know this should be the last step but I feel it is more efficient to use it first. I do have really short brows so it makes it easier to fill them in.
Tarte Eyebrow Pencil in Rich Brown
My holy grail for eyebrow pencils. I have pretty dark hair so I've come across a lot of brown eyebrow pencils with orange undertones. Which looked really artificial on me. This has really natural brown shade to it and lasts for a long time throughout the day.
Lip Pure Beeswax Balm
A random lip balm that I came across at Watsons and been loving it ever since. I used to have chapped lips so frequently and many of the lip balms that I came across would not stick to the dry skin and made it even worse. This is super moisturising and even after I eat, it doesn't wear off, keeping my lips moisturised.

dream journal #16
5th August 2014
This is a rather short dream but pretty cool because I don't have the skill to do this in real life and here is how it goes. I was in a beach resort, similar to Sutera Habour but different in certain areas. Well, it was on a rather hot afternoon and I did a front flip somersault into the swimming pool. Tasha and Christabelle were there with me too. Christabelle cannonball into the pool and was seen by the lifeguard so she got in trouble. Next thing I knew, I woke up so there isn't an ending to this dream. Oh well.

Sarah's beauty routine
Hello readers, it has been a couple of weeks since I have updated my blog so I decided to give my blog a new series that I will try my best to keep it going. Well as you can see, this new series will be beauty routines of myself and the people close to me. I have drafted a couple already so you can look forward to my special guests. For today, to give a little idea of how this series will go, I will be presenting my daily beauty routine. When I refer to 'daily', it is more like 'when I feel like putting more effort which is not exactly daily'. On days I know I will be going for a jog or a sweaty badminton session then I'll just stop after applying sun block and head out with a rather bare face. The products are in sequence of application.
I have become a loyal consumer of Shiseido for being so diligent in repurchasing every time I run out. Also, I know my mother uses some of their products which made me more confident in using their products. Absolutely love this cleansing foam, I always feel oil-free and dirt-free after a wash.
Shiseido Pureness Balancing Softener Alcohol-Free
Pureness has pretty much been discontinued everywhere else other than East Malaysia because when I looked for it in England and Kuala Lumpur, I was told it was discontinued. However, Sabah being a little late in everything is still selling Pureness in their stores. Sometimes it's a good thing after all to be a little late in the latest trend.
Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturiser Oil-Free
For both the softener and moisturiser, I use the palm of my clean hand to pat and apply on my face instead of using cotton pads. I'm a lazy person or someone that rather skip a step to be quick in a sense.
Sheseido Gentle Sun Protection Lotion SPF 30 PA+++
(For sensitive skin and babies) I seldom use this in England but in Malaysia... every single day. The Sun is just blazing hot everyday and I would like to avoid any drastic change in skin colour because that means I'll need to get a new shade of foundation.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser SPF 20 UVB/UVA (Nude)
(Lightweight flawless coverage) Recently purchased and recommended by Martha before flying back to my hometown, I needed a new foundation that could withstand the heat on a sunny everyday. So far, I'm satisfied with the coverage. I was taught to use my finger tips to apply this product before purchasing.
Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder (005 Silky Beige)
I decided to give this powder a try after watching countless youtube videos recommending this. Easily applied with my realTechniques powder brush.
Sheseido MAQuillAGE Double Brow Creator Pencil (BR611)
I still have no idea how to tame my eyebrows so they're pretty wonky for a long time now. Any advice for beginners?
Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara
Applied once after using my eyelash curler.
Benefit They're Real! Mascara
Applied as second coat then I use my eyelash curler once more when dried. Such a hassle to have straight short lashes.
Benefit EyeBright
Used at the bottom lash line to look slightly fresher and awake if I say so myself.
NYX Matte Smokey Look One Night in Morocco
This was a gift from my elder sister and I use the black eyeshadow the most to apply at my top lash line. Applied with a blunt eyeshadow brush from a set of makeup brushes my elder brother gave me for either Christmas or my birthday.
Maybelline New York Baby Lips (Mint Fresh)
Transparent lip balm to moisturise my lips before applying lipstick.
Rimmel London Kate Matte Lipstick Kiss of Life 111
Lastly, I have been using this red lipstick by lightly dabbing the inner part of my lips just to make a slight gradient to my lips. Be careful that the lipstick can easily get on your teeth since it is applied in the inner lips, I've learnt from my clumsy but funny mistakes. Alternatively, I use Beauty People Lip Tint which lasts longer but I left it in England.
That's the end of it, I hope you enjoyed it and if you have any questions, just ask away on my twitter or the comment section below. Stay tune for more, God bless.
