small town girl back in the big city world

hello readers or should I say "scrollers" because I got a feeling that most of you guys just scroll down my blog to see pictures and skip most of my boring text. Anyways, I'm back in the city from my hometown and I'm heavyhearted as usual from leaving my family to back to this miserable apartment. I've been trying to keep myself busy for the pass few hours. Done with unpacking, did grocery shopping, washed and hung up the laundry, watered the plants and fed myself. I think I'm going to get myself a pet fish so it can be miserable with me in my miserable apartment. Did you know a goldfish have a memory span of 3 seconds? My ten days.. well actually nine days was absolutely wonderful but the tenth day I flew back here so it pretty much sucked. I got to spend a lot of my time with my family and best friend in that nine days so I'm pretty thankful that I had the chance to. I'm going to make you read a list of what I did for that nine days but if you don't want to then just scroll down to see pictures of what I did for the pass few days. My mornings in kk are always breakfast with my dad and older brother, I liked that way.

breakfast with Christabelle (hello wifey, if you're reading this) at my favourite "ban mian" shop with my older brother and his friend who slept over at my apartment. Did a little bit of shopping at The Curve, rushed back to do last minute packing and straight to the airport to catch our flight. When we arrived, my family warmly welcomed me back and we went for dinner. I was happy, really happy to be home.

I only remember having my favourite squid ink spaghetti and salmon salad at Little Italy on that day with my older brother, best friend and her siblings.

Island with my brothers, best friend and her older sister. We all had a wonderful time parasailing, snorkelling and blowing bubbles with little kids. I think I got a little too much sun though but I'm pretty much always indoors when I'm back in the city so sun is good. Saved four little kittens from an irresponsible mother cat that gave birth to them in a thorny bush at my garden. Sadly, they died few days later because they were very weak and the powdered milk we got for them from the pet shop wasn't good enough.

Lunch date with P-NIS (the name we call our group because it's all our first name initial combined, Petra Ika Natassha Sarah) at Grabbing Hands along with my older brother again who I spend like 95% of my time with and some other people.

Had my all time favourite "mee whun wanton soup" at Xing Wan in Damai. I got an unattractive picture of it in my phone but it's so unattractive that you're not allowed to see it. Older sister flew from Singapore back home too that day, picked her up at the airport and had a complete 6-member family dinner in a chinese restaurant nearby. Complete 6-member family dinner are one of my favourite little things in life. Movie with high school friends after dinner, "We're the Millers" deserve a 10 star rating from me. Highly recommended to go watch, you won't regret unless you're watching it with your parents then it would be just plain awkward.

Picked up Iks with older brother for lunch at One Sulaman and had lekor after. Then I got rid of my ugly pink and green under highlights that were originally purple and blue and dyed my hair choco brown. By the time I was done with my hair, I had to rush to get ready for my little noob's 14th birthday dinner celebration at Horizon Hotel. Marcus, if you ever read this, happy belated 14th birthday and I love you, my not-so-little-anymore noob ♥ヽ(^。^)丿

Picked up little Max from school and got the chance to look around Chung Hwa which is the school I went to when I was primary one if I'm not mistaken. I moved school a lot in the start but I'll probably write a post about it next time. Blew bubbles in the car to make little Max really excited. Played badminton in the evening and had ABC at Bukit Padang after finishing.

I went to Wisma Merdeka to get glasses with older brother and best friend. She got her lenses replaced and he got a new pair of glasses. For me, I got myself a simple pair of lazy glasses which you will never see me in public with or rarely have pictures taken wearing them. Went for a short jog and had seafood dinner, it was heaven.

Drove up to kokol hill and had breakfast there with older brother, best friend and little Max. Older sister flew back to Singapore in the afternoon and tried indoor rock climbing with best friend and Aaron in the afternoon. Then had steamboat for dinner with family but the restaurant had terrible service and the food was horrible so I don't recommend you to go to the one at Penampang that rhymes with price plaster.

goodnight city lights, I miss the stars back home.
