Happy belated Valentine's day, readers.
I wanted to wish you guys with a picture of bbq pork ribs right in your face. Anyways, I had a lovely day in university like any other day and received Twix from a nice friend passing out chocolate to brighten everybody's day. University is a little hectic this past week because lecturers are throwing assignments at us like they were Oprah Winfrey.
"You get an assignment!" "You get an assignment!" "Everybody get assignments!"
In the bright side, we have a week free of classes because it's consolidation week where we catch up with our reading and complete our assignments. After classes, honeybee and I did a little grocery shopping in Tesco Express for dinner because we were still deciding on whether to cook Western or order delivery and just pig out. However, God shone a light to us to cook Western because there was a sale on two full rack marinated bbq pork ribs for only £6.50, amen. Popped them into the oven when we got home while I prepared the sides. Boiled carrots, boiled broccoli which I then heated them up in a pan with a bit of butter, boiled potatoes and mashed them while adding milk, butter and salt and lastly, pan cooked sliced mushrooms to top them off on the mash potatoes. To make our night even better, we watched "About time" while eating dinner and it was unexpectedly brilliant, 9/10. And what more I can dress as sloppy as I want with my messed up hair all over the place. Well, that was how my valentine's day went. Nothing special, just good food, good movie, good company, the way I like it.

This picture was taken on the 6th floor of the Newcastle City Library. For this week's british institutes and culture class, we had to visit the library and The Laing Art Gallery. It was lovely, nothing spectacular but just lovely.
And for these couple pictures of little amount of miserable snow on the ground, was the morning after my first encounter with snow the night before. It was on a cold tuesday evening, 11th February 2014. Study clinic for my study skills class with a time dragging lecturer was finally over and just when everybody exited the building, it looked like it was drizzling. Despite that, the rain drops became thicker and shocked as I was, it was snowing. My feelings at that time was indescribable. I wanted to call up all my favourite people, I wanted to stick my tongue out, I wanted to give everybody a hug but I couldn't. It was mesmerising, it got me just gazing as the snow continue falling. I was smiling ear to ear as I walked back home.
I'm a happy girl and couldn't ever be thankful enough to God for making me one.
