Larson goes to Liverpool

Why hello there, I'm sure by now you should be tired of looking at photos with my face constantly because I am so here's something a little different. My brother and I visited the city of Liverpool last week and had a pretty lovely time there. I can go on talking but I think I'll just elaborate under the photos.

York Train Station, it was so clean and I have yet to explore that city.

We caught an extremely early train ride as usual to Liverpool, that's where the cheap tickets are and me being a cheapskate that comes with my race so what to do. After arriving at noon, we quickly checked in our hotel and met up with a couple of friends to catch a cab together to Anfield Stadium.

After that great experience being able to watch all the legends in the stadium, we walked back to the city and had an early dinner in Byron, a burger restaurant. I would like to add that they serve skinny fries, skinny fries for life. We then took a scroll through Albert Dock before sending off my friends in the train station and calling it a day. 

Day 2 in Liverpool was spent on a stadium tour. Sadly, the Shankly Gates were taken down for constructions on the stadium.

A couple of Liverpool fans lend us their 'Justice' scarf when they helped us take these photos, it was so nice of them.

Taken during the stadium tour, I might compile my recordings I took in the stadium to make a small video when I have time to spare.

This was really cool to be able to enter these rooms.

I wonder if the players wear a new jersey every game or do they reuse? Do you know?

I accidentally left out the goal keeper's jersey but getting this shot was not easy being that everybody kept moving about so much but still, I love it.

We pretty much ended our day really early after having 'linner' (lunch and dinner together) in Meimei Chinese restaurant. It was raining so we couldn't be bothered to do anything else so we had a lazy night in the hotel munching on crisps, eating clementines and watching TV.

On day 3, after having brunch in The Hub alehouse and kitchen, we spend the whole day shopping. Well, I did. Larson just roamed around the area of Liverpool ONE which was rather huge.

One last scroll at Albert Dock where the wind was a real killer before catching our train.

By the way before I forget, happy blessed birthday to my elder brother ♡

And also our trip to Liverpool which I know won't be our last.

Sarah goes to Belfast | Part 4

Last but not least, we have come to the end of my Belfast journey with part 4 and day 4. After checking out of the hostel in the morning, I pretty much spent the rest of my morning in the Student Union having breakfast and going through my planner while waiting for the boys to be done with their classes. A little review of the hostel? Well, it was slightly dodgy but I should not be complaining when I'm only paying £13.50 per night. Two bunk beds in a clean room, only two lockers which was odd, clean toilet and shower outside the room which is shared by two rooms and absolutely no wifi. Checking in and checking out was extremely easy and quick.

Johnathan and I then took the bus to visit the Belfast Castle and Cavehill.

It was a really long walk to reach cavehill so we made a u-turn back to the castle because we were running out of time. It was also muddy so my outfit and shoes were not ideal to be taking a hike in the late afternoon. Enjoy the photos of inside and outside of the Belfast Castle.

After this little visit, we had to rush back to the city to meet up with Winnie and Isaiah before I have to catch a taxi to the airport.

Advice?

Bring slippers if you are planning to stay in hostels to use when you need to use the showers or toilet. Also, have a padlock so you can use the handy locker to store your personal items which leaves you less to carry when you're out. Do a little planning before your trip but keep an open mind to do something out of the blue too. 

Last couple photos were taken just before I got in my taxi, it was an amazing trip thanks to them plus Johnathan and I wouldn't change a thing about it if I were to go back time. I even had the loveliest conversation with the taxi driver on the way to the airport, he was so kind and looked liked the English version of my father. I cannot believe my luck that I get to encounter so many kind, lovely people along my journey, stranger or not stranger. I got God to thank for that and prayers my parents made for me to always be safe and happy.
