Hello readers, it has been awhile since I've blogged a proper entry so here goes. Just a little update from what has been going on for the last weekend. My best friend who is studying down South came up to the North East for the weekends. She's a bundle of joy to have around so the weekend pretty much went by pretty quickly. All we did were build pillow forts, watched a total of nine movies, tour around the city a little, attended The Script's concert and basically enjoyed each other's company for being apart for too long. We recorded a bunch of dorky videos of each other and also posted little time-lapse videos of us cooking and eating where you check out on my Instagram (@saayraahh). So here are some photos as you scroll along.
A simple pillow fort we built on the first night, it was extremely cozy and warm after we had to brave the shivering cold Newcastle wind from the train station to my place.
I gave the little monkey a tour around my university campus, around the city and also the market where I bought a bouquet of yellow flowers for my place just to brighten up the living room.
Look how much she loves the wind in Newcastle, I don't think I'll be expecting her to visit again anytime soon.

The night of the concert was so exciting and I'm both grateful and happy to be able to have my best friend with me for it. The thought of seeing The Script live just a few days back with my best friend is still lingering around, it was incredible.
This is a photo of a happy monkey and I just love how dorky and crazy we can get when we're around each other. She's crazy but my type of crazy and part of my crazy.
Do we look like a couple of twenty year olds or thirteen year olds?
"Newcastle you were incredible! We love you! M"
They sure know how to give us audience a mind-blowing performance. God bless Glen, Mark and Danny for being such geniuses making beautiful music for everyone. Not forgetting to credit the rest of the crew that made the concert happen. I can't wait to have the opportunity to watch them live again.
The end of a great weekend was just sending her off at the train station even before the sun has risen. I can't wait to see you during Easter and as always, I miss you gayo and can't wait to add more #sarshalessthanthree to our adventures. The origin of that line may be or may not be revealed in future post so stay tune and thanks for stumbling upon my blog every now and then. Since I can cross out watching The Script live out of my bucket list, next surely will be McBusted and Coldplay, hopefully. Anyways, to end this post, have a great weekend and God Bless.
